For me, the styling is a massive improvement... unfortunately, that may hurt sales...
Toyota proved, but GM has forgotten, that these cars MUST look drastically different from "normal" cars... how else will the hippie-yuppie/ecohipsters be able to scream from a mile away that they're driving a "hug Mother Earth-mobile"?
I mean, sure, sensible people will like that their fuel efficient vehicle is now handsome, but they don't make up the largest driving force behind sales of EVs and hybrids...
