My favorite part of the '68 Firebird is that the rear marker light is a little Pontiac emblem. It was a nice touch, and an interesting way to work a federally-mandated feature into the car's styling somehow. |

#2, I think it's a trick with the lighting, people forget, all cars rode a lot higher back in the 60's, aerodynamics were not a concern or styling cue, and the soft and bouncy period rubber meant chubby tires. |
