Does the rear scoop actually go somewhere (same question for the hood extractors)?

#1, The side scoops are functional on 1994-1995 (Five liter) Mustangs and exit in the rear wheelwells, presumably for rear brake cooling. But on the 1996+ 4.6 liters (which this is), they were sealed off. Apparently Ford decided they just weren't really that beneficial.

The hood extractors are fake.
