'69s just don't get enough love... whenever someone wants to feature a Mustang from between '67 and '71, they almost always go for the '70s... calendars, diecasts, generic images thrown up to illustrate a "muscle car"...

I mean, I have a ton of respect for Larry Shinoda... he styled some of the best-looking GM performance cars of the '60s... but he should have never been allowed near the Mustang design studio. "I know what the Mustang needs! To look like a Camaro!" Fuck that.

I do prefer the solid quarter panel on the '70, but I like the front treatment of the '69 more. I guess that makes the '69 Boss 302 the best-looking by default.

I appreciate both the '69 and '70 Mustangs.
My favorites are the '69 Mach 1 and Boss 429, and the '70 Boss 302. The backwards-facing fake side vent on the regular '69 models is a design element I have always hated, so I don't mind it being deleted on the '70s, though I generally prefer the '69 front end.
