As far as the trunk, I'll put it like this... Jimmy Hoffa, his family, and everyone he "whacked" would fit in there. Every couple of days I have to check for yodelers. I can fit three 15" subs between the wheelwells and still have more usable trunk space than 85% of the cars on the road today. That's the plan, actually.

Have you checked to make sure Jimmy Hoffa isnt actually in there?

#20 She's straight for the most part, but I'm gonna go with full 1/4s (check the 'glass work some idiot did on 9578 ) and patches on the front fenders behind the wheelwells. I need rear body mounts fabbed, too. And a trunk floor.

#22 LOL, he would've fallen through the holes in the floor.=) Which, by the way, really suck when you forget them and do a smoke show, only to find smoke rolling in through your back dash.

#25 First time I noticed what was goin' on I tried to drive away from the smoke like an idiot, and my driver's window was down so it created a vaccum. Damn near choked to death.

I just realized 9578 doesn't show the 'glass work on the 1/4. I'll have to post one that does, you guys'll laugh your asses off.

Yup, and even with all that, the rear doesn't sag, any wonder why the Town Car was the mafia vehicle of choice?

9579 shows the other 1/4 panel. I hear ya', Low-Tech. Those old boats were indestructible. Badd-ass springs. Didn't they have like 5 or 6 leafs per side or something?

Wouldn't surprise me, but I haven't seen under the Lincoln yet, we have a 8,000lb capacity lift, and it's good we do, that Linc weighs in at 5,300 lbs........

My father had a '78(I think) Buick Park Ave. that tipped the scales at like 6,500 before a guy in a stolen Suburban doin' 80mph took the nose off.

Wow, if it took the nose off one of those tanks, was there anything left of the Suburban?

Enough to mention, but not enough to run. The li'l Mexican hopped out, ran through an RV park, (this is Arizona I'm talkin' about), knocked an old man off a bicycle, and as he was making his escape on the bike, damn near hung himself on a clothesline. Yes, I do believe in poetic justice. He was okay, but caught. My father was air-lifted from the scene.

BTW, contrary to how it sounds in comment 35, I'm not racially biased against Mexicans. Only Mexicans who try to kill my family members, even if said family member is an asshole.

BTW, those 403s have some definite pulling power, though not much high end. I drove the car once and almost went through a convenience store wall tryin' to bring it to a stop.

It has power, but I can tell it's losing it in the tranny and rear gears (econo gears suck!) but the biggest prob I have is it's HEAVY, the car has a tendancy to bottom out a lot, I put new shocks and new tires on the front, and adjusted my driving, that's cut it down about %90, but still, all that weight in motion makes it want to bottom out on dips and I have learned to be my own ABS, it locks up fast...
