It took until the Sprinter van before these were displaced as the winner of the "most shockingly poor rustproofing" award.

#2, Yeah, unfortunately. I'd like to add the '07+ GM fullsizes to that as well, particularly the pickups.

The only reason you don't see more rusty sprinters is they all went to the scrapheap about 2 years ago, and, as contractors/commercial sales were their primary market, and word got around, nobody was willing to give them a chance at a second generation.
