How bad do you want to relive 2005?

As you sit there now (balding and mentally jerking off to the past memories of a life spent street racing) - this car - this heap of faded dreams and thin promises - are pales reminders of a past that everyone but you have agreed is long gone.

The only reason this car exists in its present form at all is because you remember the 2000's. If Mitsubishi had any competent person working for them - this cars design would have died ages ago - or at the very least look like it belongs in this decade.

Mitsubishi isn't going to let that happen - as they know they can bilk those faded fucking memories out of you for the price of a low down payment and high monthly interest rates.

In return - you get terrible resale values - substandard build quality - higher insurance costs - and most importantly - a first class ticket back to the summer of '05.

Nothing else matters.

...and I'm just here, playing the waiting game, seeing if Nissan will either try to rejuvenate Mitsubishi in America, or just outright deep-six them.

...or, they could look at the Mirage's success, despite being a horrible little third-world shitbox, and start rebadging Datsuns as Mitsubishis in America...
