I'd say '78-'81 were just... the very, very bad years for F-bodies. It was the only era were both the Firebird/TransAm and the Camaro had, shall we say, regrettable styling...

I mean, ok, the Camaro was the better looking of the two in those four years, but that's not saying much... every other model year at least one model of either brand that looked good, if not both.

1978 T/As looked great. :/

I'm not a fan of the 1979-1981, though. All of those years of Camaro are OK, but only OK.
