One time, at a car show a couple years back, my dad was surprisingly fascinated by a Mercedes Maybach very similar to this one... extremely uncharacteristic, as he didn't really have an interest in modern cars, aside from just trying to find one that he could fit in, not be underpowered, and be very comfortable.

I mean, when he got back home from the show, he actually did a lot of research on the thing. I never quite understood what sparked his interested to such a high degree. I had never seen him so invested in learning about a modern car.

I'm not sure how I feel about these. I don't see many of them, and from what I understand, a lot of dealers drive these then sell them as pre-owned to avoid marking them $50k or so from sticker as new with major discounts.
