Sadly, it appears that Toyota heavily neutered this thing, to ensure the Lexus GX version remains far more desirable, to justify its higher price. That, and the new 4Runner actually seeming like a really decent redesign, sharing the exact same size-class and capabilities (if not moreso) for a more justifiable price, makes this thing seem quite pointless on the American market.

I see tons as well. I'm in Australia now, (have been since the 9th) and these are everywhere in Melbourne.

#4, I was mainly referring to them here in America. I imagine the J250 Land Cruiser Prados elsewhere in the world aren't as hampered by marketing bullshit.

#5, They are-- and they've all got roo bars and driving lights. Friend's Nissan Pathfinder (AWD crossover) has a damn roo bar and lights on it; it looks silly.
