Description: I had reserved a Toyota Yaris (or equivalent), but the rental desk were all out. This is what they gave me instead, for no additional cost. Drove through a fair amount of Finnish snow with this thing. KW: Mercedes-Benz A180

One thing may have affected the selection of their available fleet... the rental desk was actually located inside a Mercedes-Benz dealership.

#2, Certainly a comfortable highway cruiser for its size, very confidence-inspiring. Its navigation wasn't as convenient/user-friendly/helpful as in the Audi A3 I rented in Spain earlier this year, but still decent. However, its cruise control, gear selector, and Bluetooth connectivity were quite a bit easier to use. It had a huge driving range, and I didn't use up the whole tank. I had pre-paid for the rental agency to refuel it, so I didn't have to worry about it.

I never understood the need for an A Class and CLA. Honestly, even the styling is a bit too similar.

So, basically, twice now I've reserved a small Toyota hatchback, and was given a dark gray Teutonic hatchback instead.

In case anyone's curious why I've now been to Finland twice... my best friend lives there, on a work visa, as a senior level designer for a videogame developer.

#9, I'm not a member of any frequent customer/miles/etc. program. I probably should have thought of that before I started travelling. When I went to Finland last year, I didn't anticipate doing so many trips after that. ...as an aside, I'm now exploring the logistics of visiting Japan, now that I've learned Delta has a direct flight from Atlanta to Haneda.

#10, That's been on my list for awhile. First time I tried to go in 2019, a typhoon happened, we aimed for spring 2020, but well know what happened then. Tried to go again in 2022, but there was another roadblock, and I forget what it was. I ended up going to Vancouver by way of Seattle for my vacation instead.
