Oooh, Twilight Turquoise. Probably my favorite '65 color.

#1, There's my ignorance rearing its ugly head again... I just assumed with was a modern color repaint.

#2, Everyone knows that all '65 Mustangs came from the factory painted bright red. All of them. Every single one. :P

#3, But that's a Ford thing, right? All Model T's were black. All '65 Mustangs were red. All '55 Thunderbirds were pastel blue...

#2, Many of the early Mustang colors do look quite modern. 1966 Emberglo, another favorite of mine, also would look quite at home on a modern car.

Caspian Blue and Ivy Green are two favorites of mine.

#6, Aye, two other good colors. Caspian Blue in particular looks good on fastbacks.

#6, Someone here has an Ivy Green convertible and it is gorgeous. I also love Emberglo and Dynasty Green...and Prairie Bronze. Fight me.

I'm still a little sad my dad sold his '66 convertible project when it was finally coming together, but he didn't have much choice as he lost his storage.

#8, all good choices. I've never thought much of Prairie but it's a decent choice, if not terribly common.

#9, Black GT with red accent, yes? Black or red interior?

#11, depends what the accenting is and if there is any other red. Red interior could be cool on a car with rocker stripes, and maybe double hood stripes, too. But if it only has redline tires, then black all the way.

#7, I just happened upon this Caspian Blue fastback with red accents recently.

I wonder how long ago that was sold. I was there in October and I don't remember that car. Neat combo.
