I know--too many decaying f-bodies and other pony cars out there. If you ever post a pic with better lighting or at a more convenient angle, I'll have to do something else then. By the way, note the shaved tires. It's got no tread, so it must be ready for NASCAR...

Ha, I just put new ones on the front, they sure didn't last long did they? Actualy, aside from mine, there are 4 other 2nd Gen. F-Bodies I've regularly seen around town, and 3 I've seen just passin' though once, it's about 50-50 split between Excellent/Good condition to Trashed/Gritted

There are quite a few left actualy, now that I think about it, in my town alone I see,
-Black 79' - 81' Trans Am - good shape
-Silver 79' Trans Am - Showroom shape
-Silver 77' or 78' Trans Am - Very Good shape
-Red 76' or later Z28 - good shape
-Green 69' Firebird - Showroom shape
-Red 79-81' Firebird - Good shape, but the idiot has a bike rack on the back
-Red 79-81' Firebird - Good shape
-Black 79'-81' base Firebird - paint peeling off, Mullet Head behind the wheel
-Black 79'-81' Trans Am - Paint peel, dented badly
-Primer grey 78' or so Z28, beat to hell, I think it died, it was last seen idle w/ a flat tire and the front clip torn off in front of the local garage
Aside from that, I've seen a few others just once, passing through

Yeah, we have an interesting mix of nice stuff, beateriffic cars, and pure rice here, too. We've got a lot of Fox-body Mustangs and 3rd-gen F-bodies that seem to be on the cusp of turning into pure crap. Shame, too.
