Uh lets not factor out the M5 budd. And why do you always factor money in? its dumb since none of us can own it why we even make money a factor, i'm talking strictly on performance.

Yeah i just checked the specs on that car. That car cost $119 and the M5 only cost $80000. The M5 could take this car and would be much better MONEY and performance choice. You ad the extra 40 grand left over from not buying the cl600, you'll have that car way over 500 hp.

No, but the price difference between the CL600 and McLaren F1 is so ENORMOUS (we're not talking a $50K difference, we're talking the F1 is 10x the price of the Mercedes)...and I was kinda laughing that you considered the F1 a BMW, because it has a BMW engine. Yeah the M5 is nice, but does it come in a convertible?

why would it come in a convertible, with that fast of a car that'd be dumb to make it a convertable. Oh and the fact that i was considering the Mclaren a semi-BMW is because well the engine powers everything on there as does the transmission which was both done by BMW.

Anti-Ricer 007 your precious M5 has its match in the CLK55 AMG, witch come in convertible. And also lets not forget what they are, Sporty Luxury Sedans. True versions can be found on the track but there hardly the same thing. The only thing tat BMW makes in the CL’s class is the Z8 witch start at $130000 and though I haven’t driven it from what I'm told don’t put as much torque or handle as well as the driving experience that is the CL600. Once again at the risk of being a “childish asshole” I’d rather spend $30000 and build a flawless peace of history that I can tune my self and could stomp them all for a fraction of the cost. So you can call me an ass hole but I understand your point but we aren’t all spoiled little mamas boys. Being that you still don’t under stand my point that would make you hands down an Awful Jackass. Thank you!

I do, DiRF does, I even give AC Schnitzer M3 credit, but as I said Anti-Ricer 007 knows very little. Any dispute go to Car #515 and you’ll see.

Yeah thats right i don't kno shit about cars, just cause i don't study up on WRX's. And I kno for sure that a Z8 could take a cl600, and the handling and torque on those cars is awesome. And i'm also thinking that an M5 could take one also and even if it couldn't, you could put the 40 grand left over into the engine and make it a shit load faster then the CL600.

Oh and i'm not spoiled, look man this lil' fight we have goin on is getting pointless, i make a remark that kicks your ass then you come right back with one, isn't this getting to be dumb? I can respect the fact that you like WRX's, nothing wrong with that, there good cars for how cheap they are. so i guess i'm asking to end this dumb ass little fight we have goin on here. And if you really wanna proove how fast your car is, just come to an auto cross of my chapters.

{/o}The Z8 cost so much cause its on its own platform, its not on a 3 series, or 8 series, its its own platform, and also many body parts are made from an aluminum alloy. I'd take the M5 over the CL600 just cause its cheeper, more room and just as fast.

i'm gonna just sort of step in here and talk about the car in the picture.. i think it's pretty good-looking and i'm a big fan of the m3, especially the brand new ones. However, I'll paraphrase Automobile Magazine and say that with a motor like the m3's, you're better off with a hardtop. I wouldn't want to cruise at 140 with the top down.. and if i wasn't planning on cruising at 140, i wouldn't buy an m3. see the logic here? but it's still a downright beautiful machine.

i'd like to see the guy take a 426 Hemi or a boss 427...the replacement for displacement my eye. sounds like he's making excuses for his personal lack of "cubic inches" if you catch my drift.

Some BMW's do have low displacement, but still whale on higher power cars. The M6 was made for the Autobahn, so just keep that in mind.

I think we're talkin more about low end torque, true, it can probably hold it's own at top speed on a highway, but from a dead stop at a red light, no chance against an old fashioned big block 'stang
