Whoa there guys. It's not rice (probably). There is a company called Craviggio (something like that) that does convertible conversions on Z06s for a hefty price. |

Remeber Im Aussie, I dont see these every day, and I keep seeing corvettes that look like this model but convertible. So is the Z06 the model? Or like the trim level? |

The regular Corvette is the hatchback with a removable roof or convertible. They also made a fixed roof version with a trunk (like the Z06) for a couple of years. |

#9, Z06 is the uplevel Corvette. It has the 405hp LS6 (instead of the 345hp LS1), these wheels, functional back brake coolers, screens on the front and red calipers with CORVETTE lettering. They are also available with two-tone black and red leather. And of course like I said before, it only comes in a hard top (with a trunk) and a six-speed. They came out with the Z06 for the 2001 model year (385hp then) and they still have them today. |

whats the point of converting a Z06 into a drop-top? just take a base-level corvette and use the money for engine upgrades... |

#13, Yeah I agree. Plus you would have people calling you a ricer. And you don't get a Corvette for that... |

#11, Two more things I forgot; the Z06 has titanium exhaust with bigger round tips and red fuel rail covers on the engine with black CORVETTE lettering (instead of the normal black FRC covers with red CORVETTE lettering). |

The Z06 was 385 hp for 2001, and I think 405 for 2002 and 2003. But I'm not really sure. Not exactly one of my favorite cars. |
