I'd like to drop the running gear from the 10 second Reliant into this.

#4, That would really be cooler, since you could use the front-wheel drive running gear.

#5, Yep, and for 1984, the last year for the Wagoneer (it was bascialy a Cherokee w/ Wagoneer badges, as AMC had just been bought out by Chrysler) it had woodsides too!

#9, Yes, '90 was the last year for the OLD bodystyle Grand Wagoneer. The Wagoneer from the 80s was basically a Cherokee, but more upscale. When the Grand Cherokee came out, they made a more upscale version of it, can called it the Grand Wagoneer, but that became just another alphabet soup trim level after about a year....LE or SE or something like that...

Just a bit of info, that faux wood is actualy a 2 piece veneer, the lower half is a white/tan contact paper-like material with printed grain on it, covered by a layer of thin brown plastic that waterproofs it and gives it the color. I know because I had to swap a Grand Wagoneer fender onto my Bro's Regular Wagoneer Brougham, and the stuff had to be stripped off to match the rest of his Jeep, it took FOREVER! Despite the fact it was off a 15 year old junker that had been outside for a while, it took about 3 nights with a hair dryer and razor blade to get it all off, tenacious stuff really.......
