again, intake, crank case breather, spark plug wires and plugs, valve cover, Mugen Oil Cap (hot spit - good for at least 25 horses), i doubt he's even pushing 137 horses.

you know, I'm pretty sure that the stock exhaust diameter for '97 civics was either 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 inches. either way, he's a dumbass. it's just the degree of dumbassitude.

Ok, this guy is listing stuff we all do and don't even think about. How come Ricers do a million 2 hp mods but never do any real hard core stuff?

#7, Because their cars are usually newer vehicles that run fairly good and they don't want to tear into a good-running engine. Just my guess, maybe I'm wrong.

#9, because the magazines say so.
if these guys equiped (or, hooked up, as it is in the ricer language) their civics with turbocharger conversions and nitrous, they could actually be somewhat fast. and maybe they would actually NEED those spark plugs then, if running high boost.. "boost? wuzzat?" argh.
