#20, v6 5 speed over either (try and find one). I had a choice between an Impala 3.8, and mazda 6 gt v6 and the alimta. Impala was a step up from the 3.4 but i hated the engine noise, Madza 6 had a shitty salesman and i just think the altima is dead sexy. It had eveything we were looking for the dealership was fantastic.

the point: v6 auto over 4 cylinder 5 speed

Surprisingly, I don't hate it.

#20, I think it depends on driving style/preference. Having had seat time in both, and a '15 2.5S CVT (horrible horrible drone, by the way), I would say its a close call.

In the 4, the 5 spd makes it feel quick (numbers say otherwise), and the V6 auto is decent too, unless you absolutely push it to the limit where torque-steer is evident. I would honestly say that a four cylinder auto is enough car for most people. I *almost* got a 5 spd as a winter car a couple years ago, but I couldn't bear to see it succumb to road salt (the 2002+ I actually quite like), so I got another W-body instead. In hindsight, the Altima would've likely been a better car.
