#22, Not surprised. There is also the Exige. My point, though, was that the car moved quickly, despite its total lack of HP, because it didn't weigh much at all.

#24, No, it doesn't. They had Rover engines -- the new ones (that are actually coming to the US) have Toyota engines, due to the Rovers not meeting US emissions standards.
Unfortunately, the new Elise has also put on about 500lbs, thanks to power windows, A/C, a stereo, and other miscellaneous garbage that is completely counter to what the car is supposed to be about.
(Still weighs less than 2000lbs, though.)
