What's wrong with the huge Thunderbirds of the 1970s? I think big cars are too often overlooked. Just do the Car Craft 500+ horse 460, a beefed up C6, and 4.11 gears in the stock Ford 9 inch rear. Then add whitewalls and Wal-Mart wire wheel covers. Maybe see if you can stealthily fit a set of 15x8 inch tires in the back.... |

The ones from the 90's were actually pretty good, too, in my opinion. I had a '93 with 156,000 miles on the clock (3.8L). Ran smooth. Handled beautifully considering its size--I could push the thing through corners a lot faster than I'd try with my Mustang. Shame that (a) it weighed 3600LB with only 140HP and an automatic transmission and (b) the A/C went (which is why I sold it). Still, the SCs and V8 LX cars kicked butt, and they were all GREAT highway drivers. Sorta like a two-door living room... |

SC's can move if you got money. there's a couple guys on sccoa pushing 400+ hp out of the 3.8sc with no nitrous. |
