Burberry is a posh upper class brand, like Hugo Boss, Gucci or Prada. It's a brand that had mostly been enjoyed by rich people. But suddenly rappers and sport stars started putting them inside car interiors making velour suits and other tacky crap. This brought Burberry to the hood and that's when so many counterfiters started making purses and handbags, and everyone thought it would be cute to put it on hats, shoes and other things.
