#40, IMO, I prefer subtitles...I hate redubbing, unless it's done in a non-serious way (i.e. Kung Pow, MEEC). I prefer hearing the original voices, they have the most emotion. But, I hate Anime anyway (unless it's Hentai Mangas)...

#42, Actually the English voice acting is quite good on DBZ. I tried listening to a Japanese episode once and couldn't stand all those high-pitched voices for every character. I laughed my ass off but it wasn't as good.

#42, The problem with dubbing is, I guess, Japanese has a way of making complex issues into short words, so to try and translate that into english, you get some of the WORST "talking villian" syndrome on the planet. The guy's giving a freakin' speech while having a sword fight

"Rides around in his Freakmobile Freakazoid Free kazoo!" There are actually two different versions of that. The other version is... Rides around in his Freakmobile Freakazoid Freakazoo! (and instead of a "Free Kazoo" seen on screen, you see Freakazoid acting like a baboon. And that ISN'T used in the "Chimpanzee" part of the song, in that scene, they ALWAYS had that stock footage of the monkey.)
