#60, Except cheap toys are usually built to more precise tolerances.

#58, Interesting...the interior of my Capri, even though it was a base model, felt very substantial with good materials...even though they were all aged, dry-rotted and cracked...but looking at the cars I've driven, I'm not the best person to judge interiors...

Fords are usually a bit more robust, in my humble opinion, when it comes to interiors. Mind you, thats about all they have that beats GM's (relative) quality.

#62, I'm going to have to drive out there so you can see what I'm talking about. Most of my interior is made out of what feels like polycarbonate plastic. It's probably durable enough, but it does not look "high-rent" by any stretch. Some of the pieces even fit together! :-P

#66, You'll have to go to a scrap yard...that is, if the Capri hasn't already been crushed. It was towed away two weeks ago. (I wasn't home when the guy came to take it away, also, I had no film...otherwise, I woulda taken pics of it being towed away)

#55, thx!! :)

Well it does matter but it's lower on the priority list. It's actually worlds better than the interior in my old 95 Z28.

#69, Technically, it's not "finished" but now I'm working on getting a Vette so I'm not going to put any more money into this obviously besides maintenence.

#72, I remember WAAAAY back in the early days of Rice or Not, you and Jackie (at that time using the sn "JAX SILVERBABY") announced you were getting married...and y'all only had that old Silver Z28 and that other Camaro... how far y'all have come since then. Seem to have been happily married for a while, and have a more awesome Z28 with plans of getting a Vette... WOW.
