So much for feline grace and dignity. I suppose a Cougar turd could look like this, but that's the only comparison I can draw here. |

Something about this generation of Cougar has been incredibly unappealing. Like, I would rather drive a Civic, or God forbid, even a Geo Storm over one of these. Maybe it's just how they took a good car and screwed up the name (like the Impala) Or maybe it's because the styling just looks like crap. Or maybe because I think it's a super girl's car running in the same category as the Eclipse. Something about it just bugs me...

#3, I agree, there are very few cars that look as bad from every angle as the latest cougars, and this one, well, calling it a festering lump of dogshit, right down to the color, would probaly be praising it for at least looking like somthing recognizable, it's an asthetic nightmare

These Cougars don't bother me so much, but I just never got the point. They costed as more than a V6 Mustang, which was a better looking, larger, and better-performing car.

#5, They were chick cars from the get-go, the only thing that sold them is the fact they looked "cute" to chicks who though the mustang too butch

#7, Well, there was a story I read on the reason to discontinue the cougar, and the answer was more or less, only women bought them.... Ford wanted them to be the hip sport car for the 20 somthings, but only managed to hook 18-21 college girls with them :)

I agree, this friend I have (very good looking girl) wanted her boyfriend to buy her a Mustang. I asked her why and she said "cuz they look nice and cute."

#12, Yeah, but the Capri is to the Mustang what the 3rd generation Firebird was the Camaro. Imagine some guy who drives an '85 Firebird talking about how much Camaros suck, even though he is basically driving a Camaro.
Of course, it could also be said (as I said), that if he criticizes a Camaro, he reserves the right to, since he owns a reskinned version of the same vehicle.

#19, i never realize how short shakira is...btw her new song is the only all-spanish song that i can stand
that new spanish rap on the radio and sean paul too is just horrible
