there were long wheel base quattro's and short wheel base, like the red one pictured here, the white quattro behind it is a LWB car.

This is the Sport Quattro. They made the short version because the LWB wasn't competitive in the WRC. This is basically the same car as the S1 (huge wings, Pikes Peak), though they took the S1 a step, or two, further.

#23, Yes. Too bad the short wheelbase car was so twitchy they didn't win a single champioship with it.
