I thought all LX Mustangs were notchbacks?

I'm not sure about that. I'm rather certain that I've at least seen some of the base-model (as in, 2.3L) Mustangs with hatchbacks. I prefer the hatch, myself. :)

#2, #3, uhm...neither of those responses inform me as to whether or not there WERE or WERE NOT hatchback LX Mustangs...

#3's link appears to include an LX-style Mustang that is indeed a hatchback..

#6, I thought they were some OTHER trim level, other than LX... So I was wrong. I guess I learn something knew every day.

#5, There was absolutely no information about level/trim badging in that thread, just pictures.

#7, I was looking at the main picture. One of the cars is a white hatchback with the angle-cut rear-exiting tips (which usually only appeared on LXs). Base model cars had single turndowns and GT's with that style of headlamps had groundeffects. That leaves exactly one possibility.

#7, oh OK I thought you meant that you thought that all the hatchbacks were GT style ones. sorry for the confusion

#8, Aha...ok. You're always the one to turn to for the technical stuff. Thanks.

#9, confusion was partly my fault also...we weren't "on the same page" so to speak.
