There was some made-for-TV movie about a haunted car I saw on USA once, can't remember its' title, but the "Evil Car" was a horribly beat up B-Body Mopar, they crushed the hood down around the grille to make it look like it was giving you angry eyes, then proceeded to beat the hell out of it and they threw it off a cliff, I wasnt scared, I was IN TEARS! up untill that point I had been thinking "It's okay, just need a new front clip BAM! okay, new door, BAM! okay, rear decklid, BAM, okay forget the body, but the 440 is still good, OF CLIFF, SLOW MO DEATH DIVE ONTO ROCKS BELOW, wimper, wimper wimper." |

But sometimes, gratuitous car wrecks are cool. Like in that Midas (I think) commercial. "Yugo. What are you gonna do?" That commercial rules. |

yeah, but isn't there two versions? one where he doesn't fly through the wall? I remember seeing the same exact commercial then thinking "Hey! isn't he supposed to knock down that wall?" |

Nope, haven't seen that one yet. It'll probably be on during the race tomorrow, though, I'd guess. And speaking of commercials, commericals based entirely on crash test performance piss me off. Yeah, I KNOW you have to destroy perfectly good cars to meet government standards, but do you have to rub it in my face? And also, I'd prefer to hear about handling, performance, y'know, the stuff that keeps me from needing to worry about how it performs in a crash. |

I liked the old Valvoline commercial where they guy is working under his truck, singing "Born to be wild" and kicks out the jack stand, the truck falls on him, and after a second of dead silence, he just keeps on going...... the tag line was somthing like "We know how you take your car seriously" or somthing liek that |

Not far from the truth! |

This movie blew monkey nuts through a repeatedly bent straw. |
