I'm not exactly a big fan of gold and white, either, but it's the Hurst version. Everything Hurst stamped their name on at that time was gold and white.

my first car was a 1970 Chrysler 300, 4-door hardtop, 440, original paint.

Also, this reminds me of those Dove ice cream bars. Inside, they had white ice cream and caramel.
