My friend and his FIAT 126p in action.
Suspension mods:
-front leafspring reforged (yes, he had to find a blacksmith!) and shortened
-rear springs replaced by a cut in half spring from a van
-oil in shocks changed
Engine mods:
N/A
-rear mounted aircooled 2 cyl, 650cc, transverse, 24HP
-4 speed gearbox, rear wheel drive
Interior mods:
-gutted
-bucket seats, racing harnesses
-roll bar
Exterior mods:
-steelies!
-two 100 watt lamps front

#2, Well I don't know how to describe it... Nothing compares. Bug had an air cooled engine but the sound is different... It is just one of the kind. :)

Update: the guy finished third in his class in local club rally championship. This was his first year! Plus, the car had NO engine mods. He plans to add some 8-10HP for next year.

Lightened flywheel, ported and polished head, mild camshaft, (some) performance exhaust. Those are his plans for this bugger.
