#19, but that V6 wouldn't have been in the Opel Calibra though.

An awful lot of Chevrolet S-10s and their GMC variants came with the 2.8 V6, too.

A buddy of mine in high school had a '91 S-15 with the 2.8 (I've mentioned it before...the guy painted it a different color practically every week). What amazed me is the thing had nearly 300,000 actual miles on it, he abused the shit out of it, and it still kept going. Even after he flipped the thing (imitating the Dukes of Hazzard on a dirt road), he sold the still-operational engine.

Oh yeah, and the 3rd gen Camaros and Firebirds were also offered with the 2.8.

#25, The '83 (I think) Blazer has 220K on it and still goes fine.

#16, Well, it's Jan or John or Johann or Ivan :)
As for swaps: Alfa Romeo 155 used the same floor pan and suspension design. It used (among others) 2.0 litre dohc 16v turbo engine and a 2.5 V6 ohc. The best thing is that the V6 was coupled with AWD (three diffs!!!). The thing was named Q4 and was a homologation special for DTM cars. Hmmm... Some tunnel cutting should do the job. But... Why not simply buy an Alfa???

Shark attack!
