#12, this may sound stupid, but if you can find Rush 2049 in an arcade, choose manual, and use the clutch pedal and let of the gas to shift as you would in a real car

#15, You dont HAVE to use it if you choose maunal tho

I learned to drive in a saturn 5-speed, tho its been a while since ive driven a stick so i might be outta the groove cause its been so long

#17, I know that, but it could help him get use to using one. They are real easy to learn though. Driving one is about like riding a bike, once you learn you never forget how.

#18, you dont have to use it, but it isnt advisible to do so, because if you screw up shifting, you could ruin your tranny.
