#5, Maybe, like the Canadian domestic market of old, they were required to make a certain percentage of "unique" vehicles... and this was a quick and dirty way to accomplish that? Maybe like the Mexican Mustangs that used Capri body parts in the '80s?

#7, Well, the updated Ramchargers existed because they was still massive demand in Mexico for them, and they didn't need to worry about US regulations... I'm sure if there was enough demand in America to justify the engineering effort to meet NHTSA and USDOT regulations, we would have gotten it as well.

#9, Well, the 2-door Tahoe still existed until 1999... the Mexican Ramcharger only outlived it by 2 years. It's possible that tastes did change south of the border between 1995-2000. [Edited by DiRF on 6-19-2016 @ 02:17:46 PM]

#10, Hmm.. Plus, they had cheap gas, too, I think. Almost all the Mexican plated vehicles I see here in MN are pickups, with the lone exception being my neighbor's Chevy Chevy.
