#7, for like three days. :/ He got a DSG GTI, and was so fed up with it, he returned it.. It just turned 140k... has fender rust, rocker rust, but is still doing awesome mechanically.

#8, I just heard a nice story regarding the DSG (or PDK: it's a Porsche invention). It involves skipping gears and metal shears in gearbox oil. And VW charging half the car price for a replacement and completely denying anything is wrong.
I guess there is a reason why this thing was used only 4 times ever: Porsche at LeMans (they dropped it and never used it again), Audi in group B (1 rally and they dropped it), Peugeot in 307 WRC (they never got it to work) and now VW...
