#20, Awesome. If you do get it, watch the launches, the Subie gearboxes are pretty brittle. Wait, it's auto, right? That should make it a bit more durable. But the lag on the BC/BF Legacy's is not too bad, esp. compared to the BG twin turbos. I hate the VOD with a passion, but I still love the wagon. It's awesome once it spools up.

#21, yeah, it's a small turbo. It's not so laggy. But it has some serious cons: smaller, slower and gas guzzlier than the altima. But can be upgraded for super happy ^___^ fun time

and I'll get you and your little twin turboes!!!! and what is VOD? I don't even think we had turbo legacies of your generation, let alone a TT :(

#22, VOD - Valley of death. The transition from the primary to secondary turbo. Between around 3500-4200 rpm, if you upshift, the mechanism which switches on, for want of a better word, the secondary turbo keeps working, and you have jack all boost till it finishes, and then reverts back to the primary because your revs have dropped down again, which takes a good few seconds. And having 5 psi boost compared to the normal, for my car anyways, 14/15 psi is quite a difference. You can get around it by shifting well before or after that rev range, but it's still annoying when you fall into it.

#23, ah. Both my cars have something similar because of the mapping of the autotrans. The VQ can either be "captain greased butter" and just rev super smooth and fast or be "fucko mcjerky"...which means Floor it...nothing....rush...shift rush. The ecotec is similar but rougher. If it isn;t smooth it's "nothing....nothing RUUUUUUUUUUUUUSH nothing RUSH RUUUUUUUSH".

I need a mantrans

I find this shade of purple oddly compelling.
