#6, I really dont care for burnouts in general. I never thought of that. But not that you mention it, it does bother me. I see burnouts as pointless. Maybe cause i cant go through $200+ every week for tires.

burnouts are pointless but they are also a shit load of fun. plus if you pace yourself you can still get the tires to last for a little while. most of the time I get almost a year out of my back tires

now where it is really at is doughnuts, nothing beats spinning around in your own tire smoke before dawn :-)

besides when you do a burout you get to smell the greatest sent of all, burnt rubber

#8, I agree. Unless your're heating the tires for drag racing, burnouts are stupid.
Getting a thrill out of destroying $400 tires and forcing folks to breath in thick tire fumes is idiotic. Bet the parents are proud.
"Dad, I was doing burnouts, dude. Cool, hu?"

Burnouts are no dumber than any other automotive "stunt", including doughnuts, 180s, drifting, tray sliding, etc.
