#1, Depends, really. What kind of Imprezas are they? Is it a track with more straights than corners? What is probably more safe to say is that the guy driving the Elise is having more fun.

If they hit some dirt sections the Imprezas will catch and pass the Elise very easily, methinks.

I believe they are all STi Imprezas, the one closest to the Elise is a 22B.

i duno if that is the us-version 190hp elise or not...if it is, the sti's wouldn't catch up even on the straights

That version of the Elise (first gen I believe) was never sold here in the U.S.
