#20, I respect the first Prius, just like I respect the first Insight... though, that's mainly because they came around before the trendyhippieyuppie movement latched onto the later generations.

Same reason I kinda dislike some Hondas and BMWs... for the people that drive them, not the vehicles themselves.

#21, My grandma bought her Prius in 2002 to replace her '97 Chrysler Cirrus LXi. By that point my grandpa had passed away and she was living alone with just her little dog, and wanted a smaller, more fuel-efficient car that was easier to drive. I (guilty as charged) recommended she look at a Prius and my dad had her cross-shop a Ford Focus. She loved the Prius so she bought one and has kept it way longer than her usual replacement interval of 5 years (she hates the '04+ Prii). It still has less than 36,000 miles on it. :P
