little paint peel there... assume the front quarter there has been replaced or repainted at one time?
still running the L69 305?

#3, the front quarter panel has been replaced by the previous owner. As you can tell whoever painted it did not know what they were doing. And no the L69 305 was replaced with a 350.

#4, I have an '86 SS (see profile) - what kind of work was done to the 350? Still running the original computer controlled Quadrajet?
When I got mine, someone rebuilt the 305 and put it in sans computer. The carb went full rich without the signal. Lots of hillbilly wiring that needed to be fixed. Without the computer, the 200-4R won't go into lockup.
anyways, after 2 years - I pulled the 305 and put in a Vortec headed 355 with Performer RPM intake and Edelbrock carb. Still doing some tuning and need to make some tweaks here n' there. Might be replacing the heads with some aluminums come springtime.

#10, i do not know what has been to the motor. It was in the car when i got it.

#11, ah...check out the casting numbers sometime on the head... might want to know if you have some good heads or smoggers...
