There is no stock-car on the bottom row... they all appear to be drag racers. Nice collection... I need a wall-mounted display case for my 1/64s, NASCAR and non-NASCAR... I have my eye on a 108-car display case, but it'll run me about $90 :( ...and I just quit my job.

#3, i made the display with a few dollars worth of stuff from Home Depot. The first car in the bottom row is Dave Strickler's "old Reliable IV" which i thought was a stockcar, but you are right... it actually was a drag car...oops!

#4, Of all my NASCAR diecasts, I actually have one drag-racing diecast... but it's NASCAR related :) It's a 1/64 of Richard Petty's 1965 #43jr. Plymouth Barracuda, nicknamed "Outlawed"... ...he raced NHRA in '65 when NASCAR outlawed the Hemi engine for that season. He also lost control during one drag race, and killed a kid. :( Richard has said that that still haunts him every day.

#6, Back in the '60s, track safety wasn't as good as it is now, spectators weren't as protected... he lost control, the car left the track, and ended up hitting a kid on the sidelines. :(
