#3, Owner's roommate sez:
It's a Turboeast ( http://www.tbko.com ) Stage 2 IS300. Full T4 turbo with two boost settings (9psi and 14psi). Also has a thicker head gasket to drop compression. On low boost he made ~290 on a Mustang Dyno and high boost, he made ~320-330. Right now, it's kind of hodged-podged together because he blew out the rear diff, so we put an auto IS300 diff in it with 3.90 gears (IS300 manual diff is 3.73). But he's putting a GS400 rear diff (3.27) in with a TRD limited slip diff. Which will be good for big time horsepower. It also has the Supra Getreg 6-speed in it. Then next year will be the 2JZ-GTE bottom end and a bigger turbo. He’s looking to make about 600whp. All Show, All Go. Should be a good time.

Isn't the IS300 a non-turbo version of the Supra motor? 2JZ-GE, I believe. |

#9, Yes, but the Supra's 2JZ-GTE is bigger and didn't fit in his IS300, he had to fabricate custom mounts, oil pans, coolants lines and drive shaft among other things. |
