On June 9th, Japan gets the Mitsubishi Outlander G-Limited. The G presumably stands for "Gold," which is applied liberally to the sporty and stylish new SUV. The 18" aluminum rims, the side pinstripes, and the grille surround are all gold. In addition to the precious-metal-colored trim, the lower front bumper is painted the same color as the body (either black mica or white pearl). On the inside, heated leather seats with 4-way power adjust for the driver are standard.

The Outlander G-Limited is powered by Mitsu's 2.4L 16V MIVEC 4-cylinder, and features electronic 4WD and the company's INVECS-III sport mode 6-CVT transmission.

All that (plus the cool-sounding name) retails for the equivalent of a little over $25,000US.
