He got the summit sticker from proabably ordering new seat covers, or a bottle of vinyl repair compound.

Last time I checked, Summit sells decal grab bags, just a bunch of random stickers. Smart money is, this guy bought at least two of them.

they'll send you those stickers for ANYTHING, including ordering the free catalog. But don't hate on Summit, the guys that work there know just about EVERYTHING. They have really good customer service, and competitive prices. I got about half my car from summit...

Decal grab bags? Sweet! Maybe I can get a giant 5zigen sticker for the hood of my jeep.

Nah, Summit mostly just sells domestic stuff. And they are damn good at what they do. This guy just made the mistake of ordering his stickers from a non-riceboy company.

Hey, I've got stuff from them too, they're the only company I was able to find that carried the chrome 383 stroker engine oil pan I needed for my project car. Between them, Jegs, Whitney and Ames Performance, I've got 80% of a car in my closet right now :-)

they have an import catalog that's real good. Anybody who's dealt with the guys at summit realizes that those guys know more about cars then about half the people on this site combined. They know EVERYTHING. all offhand, from memory, too.

Yah... they're real pros at Summit. They've got loads of parts, and they've got good folks working for them, too.

I've even gotten advice from Summit on parts they didn't sell me. Seriously, probably over half the parts on my Mustang are junkyard jewels (I call it the Frankenstang) and they've given me advice on some of it.

yeah. I can't count the times i've called to ask for advice on stuff i didn't buy from them. And they help me and I get off the line without buying anything. How many parts places will do that?

My record was with my first truck, by the time I retired it I had 8 other trucks and a van built into it somewhere.

I've probably got that beat on Frankenstang. It's got 2001 Mustang front brakes, Cadillac (!) rear brakes, a rear end out of an old Thunderbird, I think, engine block out of a Bronco, transmission out of a late-model T-bird, cylinder heads off a NASCAR Sportsman-class Thunderbird, and parts from Mustangs all over the country and from Canada too. And these are all good-quality, sound parts. We've had all the key components Magnafluxed, and they're all perfectly sound.

Well, you've certainly hubled me, lets see. THe hood and front fenders are off a junkyard truck (it wrecked into a tree with no one driving) The grille is off a second truck, the van donated front spindles and a throttle cable, I also have a brake cylinder cap, glove box, taillights and horns from other junkyard Dodges and a second set of taillights off a Ram Charger incase I break these, intact ones are gettin' hard to find for 70's model dodges.
