I refuse to accept that the DS/ID series is the most beautifully designed car ever. I can appreciate the technology and their relative scarcity today, but they're just not attractive to me.

#2, Agreed....I think it's pretty much only rampant Citroen fanboys who say that sort of thing. The cabriolet version was particularly hideous.

And slightly off subject, but I think it needs to be said: The Citroen Ami 6 sedan is one of the single ugliest cars in history.

#3, And another thing....no one can convince me that the Loewy-designed Studebakers weren't an influence on the DS's styling. Many automotive historians have suggested it before.

#2, Oh, I do not believe it is the most beautiful car ever... far from it. But I, personally, don't find the DS ugly, either.

I love the quirkiness of its design, and as far as quirky cars go, it is quite good-looking.

#3, I *love* the Ami 6! ...but, again, not exactly a pretty car... I just love it for the same quirkiness as the DS.
