my favorite part was how the radio only picked up oldies and the lyrics always pertained to something going on at that time.

How about the fact that when Arny was behind the wheel, the miles on the odometer rolled backwards...(bet'ya didn't notice that, huh?)

they destroyed something like 23 '58 Furies for this movie. kinda makes me homicidal.
And that movie was awesome, one of the creepiest one's i've ever seen. In the book, she had 4 wheel drive. now that would have been cool, if they could have figured out how to work it for the movie. A sequel or remake should be done, after all, she never dies.

I always thought that it was funny how some Stephen King movies have a children's movie version of them

Example, for Christine, we have Herbie, the Love Bug. For Carrie, we have Matilda...

I actually like how he describes how she fixes herself up in the book. when Arnie first got her, he spent a night pushing her around the junkyard, as the odometer went backwards it was like she went back in time, to a time when the damage had never happened.

Also, one of the things that cracked me up was that in the book Arnie's friend drives a Charger R/T (anybody remember what year? i don't) and in the book he drives a '75 Duster. Bit of a difference there.

Low-Tech, that movie is "The Car". And I thought that it WAS a Charger in the movie version of Christine!

I saw one called "The Darkling" that involves a Ferrari and a Plymouth Roadrunner Superbird that were involved in fatal accidents but restored. I don't think it ever came out in theaters, though.
