I'm freakin' nuts for vintage Japanse cars. If it was made before 1980 and it came from Japan, it has a home with me. |

#42, we got rid of hooters downtown. I took a pic of the police riot wagon and i notice it werent hooter's no more. However walmart continues to grow. Ottawa is slowing turning into america. We were leaving cyrville road to go home and I told my parents to make sure they had their passports to return to Canada. All the big box stores. It really pisses me off. |

#49, same here. My cousins live in a small town in western KS and they're thinkinh of putting a Target there. A town of 5600 people does not need a Supertarget when Manhattan in nearby. |

anybody here like The Mars Volta? I just bought Francis the Mute and it's hauntingly beautiful, really. How these guys came from a broken up post-hardcore band is a mystery. |

#53, well, stuff like that doesn't bother me. It's when big companies run out the ma and pa stores that have been in the town forever. |

In a 4 square block around my mom's house in Chicago there are 6 liquor stores, 4 check cashing placed, three 7-11s and 1 White Hen (like 7-11). Also, four pizza places, two Walgreens and two Italian Beef mom n' pop greasy spoons. I miss that neighborhood. |
