Oh, GAWD that's a pretty car. What kind of motor does it have? The badge on the hood appears to say "440 Six Pack", but I can't really tell. |

One of the best looking cars ever made! Handles like an old matress but in a straight line I wouldn't even waste fuel racing that against a ricer. Not even a fair fight. It's funny how the ricers try to argue against the laws of physics. No replacment for displacment. |

Actually, Challengers handled quite well. |

To be fair, the Trans Am Challengers WERE small blocks, and the big blocks did hurt the handling a little. But it still was a good handling car. |

Kick ass! What was the original engine in it? Not that that matters all that much, you can put in just about anything.... |

I love these cars. My dad had a semi pro street '70 hemi orange one with a blown 440. We'd take it to races and even let the ricers see the engine, most of 'em (except the real car guys, like the supra owners that did their own work) wouldn't know a pushrod from a velocity stack. Then we'd blow em away... with the stereo going and 4 people in the car. good fun. with slicks it'd wheelstand a bit. if i can find a picture i'll post it.
