Description:
My friend's Lada 2107.
1300cc, some engine mods (head, exhaust manifold), DIY 100% diff lock, no interior panels, bucket seats, 4-point harnesses, rust, dents, bad welds, zipties, duct tape and random tires.

Oh, I forgot: it also doesn't seem to have any shock absorbers left, and the steering seems to be on it's way to the great junkyard in the sky.

He's a total beginner, was a decent co-driver until now. This car can kick ass, as soon as he gets some revalved shocks (like mine... the garage rebuilds them as internally adjustable so he can set them stiffer/softer as he gains more skill) and fixes the steering. He also has another, healthy bodyshell and two engines in parts, some of which come off a hill climb engine.
Oh, and switching to a free diff might help too. Maybe then he'll be able to get through a corner properly.
