#1, '81, according to the tag. Passed its last smog test in March of 2013.

Not a bad job by Ford on the aesthetics of the two-toning... honestly, I love these... they have a nice aggressive look to them... the two subsequent facelifts softened that a bit, to its detriment... (albeit, the '92 facelift was VERY well implemented, in terms of keeping the look, but making it more modern and aerodynamic).

I don't think any subsequent F-Series has ever looked this good... albeit, maybe the work-truck trim levels with the recessed, sealed beam headlamps come close.

Definitely no subsequent styles have looked this good. In fact, these are probably my second favorite postwar Ford pickups, behind only the oft-overlooked 1961-1966.

1992-1996 is my favorite "generation" aside from the 1961-1966 as well.
