my first car evar! that I drove on a daily basis was my mom's '84 Nissan King Cab 4X2 with an (gack) automatic. It was a fun little truck and definitely a one-of-a-kinder in the little town I grew up in. It was a 'GM' town (lots of people worked at a GM plant) and I got tons of shit for driving an import.
The thing rusted so easily but it was very dependable. I drove that car for 4 years w/o a single breakdown - though it ate through mufflers like a crack whore likes crack.

I love cab designations. They give you 6" behind the seat, call it a "king cab," and charge you thousands more. Nice gig! |

My parents used to have an '85 King Cab 4x2. It was originally "Mist Blue" with blue interior, but someone had (poorly) repainted it silver over the years. It had the 3-spoke "sport" steering wheel, alloy wheels, and a floor-shifter automatic with the indicator needle broken off (you had to feel your way through the gears).
It was a good vehicle, after they replaced the engine in it. |

#2, These were *fairly* spacious behind front seats. I rode in the rear jumpseats more times than I can count.
It was definitely roomier than the '91 S-10 extended cab they traded it for, although the seats themselves were less comfortable. |

#4, yep - I rode in the back 'jumpseat' more times than I can count - it wasn't too bad except for long trips. I once had 6 teenagers crammed in there - made for some uh interesting girls sitting on laps experiences - lol. |
