I had one too, should never have sold it, House of the Dead 2 and Soul Calibur were fun as hell. And besides, when the damned thing tanked I couldn't unload any of my games at Funcoland, I couldn't even tell you how much I spent on those damned games. And I always had to buy new controllers but since the namebrand ones cost so much I'd have to go with "Pelican" brand stuff and those things always broke after a couple months. Oh Dreamcast, thou is missed.

#1, i regret sellin mine too. sonic adventure FTW

i know the only reason this thing bombed so bad was because it was ahead of its time. for god sakes, it was the first console to feature online ability.

#2, Well, I think the over-hype surrounding the PS2 at the time played a part in the DC's demise as well, that and the fact that 3rd party developers were pulling out to make games for upcoming consoles they believed had the processing power and publisher strength to pimp out their titles. And don't forget that Peter Moore is a total turncoat pussy who'll only stay with a company as long as they churn out big name franchises that are practically guaranteed to bring in buttloads of revenue in and won't even try to support an ailing company even if the hardware is proven. But you can't blame him I guess...it's just human nature to go with what'll net you the most cash.

Virtua Cop 2 with the third-party lightgun, Crazy Taxi 1/2/3, playing NFL 2K1 online, playing Gran Turismo 2 with Bleem, creating tracks in Test Drive Rally... ah memories.
